All Coaches & Volunteers are fingerprinted by the Steger Police Department. The fingerprints are submitted to the FBI for a complete background check.

The Steger Recreation Board oversees and coordinates facilities and recreation programs. The recreation board does not directly run sports programs. They are appointed by the Steger Village Board.
