Conrad R. Kiebles has over 30 years experience in municipal operations,
planning, project management, and grant preparation.
Kiebles began his professional career at the City of Chicago Public Works
Department and the Northwest Indiana Regional Planning Commission.
He then started the very first economic development program for the South
Suburban Mayors & Managers Association.
Kiebles has done consulting for the Mid Metro Economic Development Group,
the Lemont Area Development Council, and the Villages of Frankfort, Lynwood,
and Sauk Village. He also served as the Community Development Director for
the City of Oak Forest.
Before joining the Village of Steger, Kiebles was a Municipal Relations Manager
with Superior Ambulance.
Kiebles is a Certified Economic Developer who attended Lewis University.
He has a graduate degree from Indiana State University. He has taught extensively
as an adjunct instructor at Lewis University, Roosevelt University, St. Xavier
University and Robert Morris College.
The Village Administrator works at the direction of the
Mayor and Board of Trustees as established by village ordinance.
The administrator provides leadership and is responsible for the day-to-day
operations and management of the financial, capital, and human resources
of the village and all departments. This is accomplished by working closely
with department heads of Police, Fire, Public Works, the Building Department,
the Community Center and the Village Clerk.
The village administrator also serves as staff to the Steger Economic Development
Committee and assists the Village Recreation Board.
