Mark Kozy has been a resident of Steger since 1979.  He is employed by Air Systems of Illinois for the past five years.  Air Systems of Illinois is a medical supply company located in South Chicago Heights.  Since 1994 Mark has owned and operated a carpet cleaning/janitorial service known as Mark Kozy Enterprises.  Before owning his own business, Mark worked in several fields inlcuding the Department of Justice-United States Marshal Service in Chicago.

Kozy is currently a Trustee for the Village of Steger and is a member of the Steger Area Chamber of Commerce.  He has held the positions of Vice President and Chairman of the Board.  He is also a ten year member of the Steger Kiwanis and has served as a Trustee on the Steger Police Department Pension Board for three years. 

Mark is very active in bowling organizations. He has been a member of the Kankakee Bowling Association for 26 years and has served as First Vice President. He is now a Life Member of that Organization. Mark has been a certified Young American Bowling Alliance coach for 19 years.

Mark and his wife Karen have two daughters Kristen and Sharon.
