The purpose of the website created and maintained by the Village of  Steger is to promote tourism, industry, economic welfare and amateur  athletic activities within the community as well as to provide  community residents with information regarding utility and governmental services.

The Village of Steger reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to deny links to any Web site that contains obscene or objectionable images and/or text in the Village's opinion or to any Web site that does not serve the purposes described above.

The Village also Reserves, in it sole and absolute discretion, the right to edit or delete any comments placed in any guest  book or bulletin board.

Any decision by the Village of Steger to provide a link or decision not to deny a link should not be interpreted as an endorsement or lack of endorsement by the Village of Steger.

Decisions regarding this policy may be appealed to the Village Clerk of  the Village of Steger. The decision of the Village Clerk shall be  final.
